Katie and André’s wedding was almost too beautiful for words. Set at San Francisco's Terra Gallery, it was a celebration with some of the most striking installations, brought by Kate Siegel Fine Events and Cherries Flowers. The team at Got Light set the mood with the most dreamy lighting.

Katie and André began the day at St Regis in San Francisco. They had their first look outside the grey slate walls of the Moma and then took portraits in the courtyard with the iconic Richard Serra sculpture, the perfect backdrop to match the couple's art gallery wedding. Their wedding party joined them dressed in black suits and bridesmaids dresses of their choosing for photos at the Moma and against a fun art wall nearby.

For the guests, the evening began with the ceremony on the upper level of the Terry Art Gallery at sunset. Cherries Flowers installed floral arrangements and lightbulbs from gold structures custom-made for the wedding. The sides of the room were all draped, hiding the walls and creating a more intimate space.

After the ceremony, guests made their way downstairs for cocktail hour, which featured high top tables with grey velvet tablecloths and large floral installations on both bars with custom gold and acrylic drink signs created by Underwood. Afterwards, guests made their way back upstairs to find the room transformed into a beautiful reception, with the drapery taken down and showing the art from the gallery on the walls and the dinner tables all brought in.

While guests dined upstairs, the cocktail space was transformed with lighting and new lounge furniture for an evening of dancing. A champagne tower was set up in the entrance to the dance floor and a large dessert table with all the bride and groom’s favorite desserts transformed the space. The newlyweds kicked off the night with parents’ dances and then their own first dance, before inviting everyone to the floor. Later in the evening, the couple’s friends led two special dances, including both the bride and groom crowd surfing and being thrown in the air during Magic Carpet Ride, and a group sing-along to Piano Man with all 200+ guests singing.
